I Quit the Juice Fast and Other News

I quit the juice fast on Day 6 but I plan on restarting again in mid-to-late April.

In other news I’m back in school and have enough client work that I am no longer taking on new clients.

My wife and I are about to start a new blog called VegVoyage.com for vegetarian travelers and it will also include our thoughts and experiences as new scooter owners.

 

 

Juice Fast Day + Small Meals Day 5

Now that I’m eating again my weight has gone up, but that’s expected since there is something in my colon now.  I had small meals yesterday and juice.  I even had dessert, but I’m going to cut out the dessert for a while.  I may start posting my meals in a few days.

Stats…

Body Weight:  192.4 lbs.

Body Fat: 19.5%

Juice Fast Day 4

The juice fast is over.  I’m going to start eating small meals along with juicing and try to eliminate oil and cheese from my diet until I get to my goal weight of 165 lbs.  Maybe in April I’ll do a 3 or 10 day juice fast if I haven’t gotten down below 180 lbs by then.

Juice Fast Day 3

Yesterday (Saturday) was pretty rough because I was tired and getting hungry more often than I was on Friday.  I juiced about 5 times and drank several glasses of water and cups of herbal tea.  I’m at the point where I’m craving carrots and chick peas and not something like a bag of Munchos.  Wasabi flavored gum helped me overcome my desire to eat.

I managed to push though it and I’m feeling fine this morning.

Lunch Day 2

Juice Fast Day 2

It’s the morning of day 2 of my juice fast.  I feel kinda crappy and I’m not sure if it’s the fast or if it’s asthma related.  It’s actually cold in Chicago now so I’m going to assume my breathing problems and exhaustion are due to my asthma.

Juice Fast Day 1

Today I began my juice fast.  It’s still morning and I just had juice made from berries, strawberries, an apple and a small amount of lettuce.  For lunch I intend to use chard, lettuce, spinach, turnip greens and sweet potato.  I don’t know about dinner yet. I have a feeling I’ll be walking to the produce store every other evening.
