Freelancing Update
I’ve been freelancing for a few weeks now and things are going very well. I have a new project that involves making an affiliate program driven site that sells furniture. I’m excited about it because it’s a little different that the typical credit card affiliate websites I make and maintain.
I finally decided to use Business Contact Manager in Outlook instead of using SalesForce.com. The SalesForce policy of annoying the living hell out of trial members made this an easy decision. I got bombarded with voice mail and email from some guy named Mike from SalesForce who wanted to talk to me about the trial. I am perfectly capable of evaluating software on my own. Ugh. I can only imagine how much they would have hassled me after I signed up to try to get me to update to a more advanced membership. It’s like when you donate to a charity. After you’re on their list they send you an incessant amount of postal mail pleading with you for more money. They should spend their postage and printing fees on the people who benefit from the charity and leave me the hell alone.</tangent>
